If you prefer an earlier lunch before your child naps, this afternoon stay and play session is perfect for you.

Hello friends is a modern play space. An inviting, friendy, home from home playroom where children will enjoy playing with all of our montessori style toys. A space where they can role play, get creative and meet other children. There is so much to explore in our intimate space, Mum, Dad or whoever the adult may be is never too far away for a quick cuddle before going back to independent play. Each session will finish with a song and dance or a story in our book room.

Every session offers the chance to purchase a small selection of child & adult breakfast items.

Hello Play

Hello Friends is a relaxed & happy environment and we ask that all visitiors respect our beautiful toys, books & space, as well as other visitors, children & staff.

Innapropriate behaviour towards other visitors or staff is not tolerated and we reserve the right to ask you to leave the venue at any given time. If this should ever happen a refund would not be given.

Parking & Accessibility

The easiest way of arriving to the building is from the quayside.

Enter the double doors down the ramp to Cobbles Tea Room and you will enter a waiting area. Avoid arriving too early as it is not a big space. The main door to hello friends will be opened  5-10 minutes before the session. This will allow you to park your buggy and make your way upstairs.

Unfortunately our space is not wheelchair friendly.

Anyone that requires any help with carrying bags, children or even help with yourself getting up the stairs, please let us know before your session and we will be happy to help to make it as easy as possible to get upstairs.
